Processing, Packing & Exporting Australian Tuna
Being in close proximity to Sydney Fish Markets, Pearl Seafood Exports are able to have fishing vessels land their catch directly into Sydney or we can arrange transport from Coffs Harbour to Bermagui.
Our Registered Establishment No.1372 has a purpose built tuna packing station, enabling fishing vessels to have the quickest access to the export market, whether it is Japan, the USA or China.
From first entering our premises the best care is taken with the SBT to ensure no bruising or damage occurs. Tuna is mechanically lifted from the bins and gently lowered onto cushioned lined benches before getting processed or cleaned for packing.
All Pearl Seafood Exports processing areas are temperature controlled to below 8 degrees celcius and from boat to freight forwarder cold chain monitoring is adhered to. Temperature data loggers can be shipped with every export ensuring piece of mind
